The Invisible Threads That Connect Us

The Invisible Threads That Connect Us

There are moments when a painting arrives long before the first brushstroke.

As an artist, I often feel a painting before I create it.

Sometimes it begins as an emotion I cannot explain. Sometimes as a question that stays with me for weeks. Sometimes as an image that appears unexpectedly and quietly asks to be brought into the world.

The three artworks I recently submitted for the international exhibition "Connections" emerged in exactly this way.

Although my work is often associated with nature, energy and the Five Elements — Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Spirit — these paintings reveal another side of my artistic journey.

A deeply human side.

A reflection on the invisible connections that shape our lives.

These reflections accompany my submission to the curated international exhibition "Connections" organized by Curatone Art, a call inviting artists to explore the many forms of human connection.

Prediction

"Prediction" was born from my fascination with the rapidly evolving relationship between humanity and Artificial Intelligence.

We stand at a moment in history where the boundaries between the biological and the digital are becoming increasingly difficult to define.

The crystal sphere held by the figure symbolizes our desire to understand the future, while her reflection begins to transform into something mechanical and unfamiliar.

For me, this painting is not about technology itself.

It is about our connection to possibility, uncertainty and the future we are already creating.

Connected to the Internet

This artwork emerged from observing how profoundly the internet has transformed human relationships.

Never before have we been able to communicate with so many people across such great distances.

And yet, never before have we spent so much time inside invisible digital worlds.

The central figure transforms into a tree, its branches reaching into an endless network of connections.

The painting explores both the beauty and the complexity of modern connectivity.

It asks a simple question:

Are we more connected than ever, or simply connected in different ways?

Shoes

Unlike the previous two works, "Shoes" returns to the most timeless connection of all.

Family.

Love.

Continuity.

A child attempting to step into shoes far too large becomes a metaphor for the invisible inheritance we receive from those who came before us.

Values.

Memories.

Dreams.

Strength.

This drawing speaks about the emotional threads that continue from one generation to the next, often without words.

The Many Forms of Connection

What I love most about this group of works is that together they explore three different dimensions of connection.

Connection with the future.

Connection with society.

Connection with family.

Each painting emerged from personal experiences, observations and emotions that I carried long before they appeared on canvas or paper.

Perhaps this is why art matters.

Because it allows us to see the invisible.

To recognize ourselves in stories that belong to others.

And to discover that we are all connected by threads we rarely notice.

Collectors Don’t Buy Paintings. They Buy Emotional Connection.18 May 2026

One of the biggest myths in contemporary art is the idea that collectors buy only “the artwork.” They don’t. They buy emotion. Connection. Meaning. A feeling they recognize somewhere deep inside themselves.

Art Without Rules: Freedom, Nature and Abstract Expression27 April 2026

What if art didn’t need rules? What if it could exist as pure feeling — intuitive, free and deeply connected to nature? In a world structured by expectations and definitions, abstract art offers something different. It invites us to experience, not to explain. This is where my journey as an artist begins.

Earth Day & Art: How Nature Inspires Abstract Expression22 April 2026

Earth Day is a reminder of something we often forget in our daily lives — we are deeply connected to nature. Not separate from it, but part of it. The rhythms of the Earth, the textures of the soil, the quiet strength of trees and the constant movement of natural elements are not only part of our environment — they live within us. As an abstract artist, this connection is at the heart of TRAXI work.
